About Akash Choya Shopno
Akash Choya Shopno, meaning "Dreams That Touch the Sky," is a volunteer-based student organization based in the United States. We are dedicated to providing free tutoring and educational resources to passionate students in Bangladesh who dream of becoming medical professionals! Through group tutoring sessions and online seminars with guest speakers, we hope to inspire our students. We also offer free online notes and study materials on various science topics. By creating a supportive environment, we want to help these young students achieve their goals. Together, we can help them reach for the sky!
Meet the Founder
Samara Tarek
Samara Tarek is a high school student from North Carolina and the heart behind Akash Choya Shopno. As a Bangladeshi-American and an aspiring medical professional, she has always dreamed of helping students in her home country. This passion inspired her to create this organization, where she supports students in Bangladesh eager to explore the health sciences. Samara believes every child deserves the chance to succeed. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, playing lacrosse, doing henna, and curling up with a good book.
